Given that health is greatly affected by factors outside of the doctor’s office, we must consider that the most impactful solutions may not be directly health-related at all. In order to truly tackle health inequity, we must first remove the barriers that prevent people from accessing the opportunities and resources they need to not only survive, but thrive.
